WELCOME to Black Cat Hampers & Gifts and The Yorkshire Black Cat Candy Store

We are a family run business nestled in the quiet village of Northowram in the heart of Calderdale, West Yorkshire. We pride ourselves on supporting and empowering other small Yorkshire businesses.

We provide a varied selection of luxury bespoke gift hampers and gifts for every occasion.

We were very lucky to be able to set up our sister company The Yorkshire Black Cat Candy Store at the start of 2023 providing favourite sweets from today and yesteryear.

As a family run business we are happy to be going from strength to strength and are proud to announce we have for the second year running, won the Prestige Yorkshire Award for 2023/2024 for Gift Shop of the Year. In addition to this we have just been awarded LuxLife Gift Award 2023 for Family Run Gift Hamper Business, and Global Recognition Award 2023 These awards are not for us but for all our amazing loyal and new customers who take a chance on a small business and without that we wouldn't be where we are today.

Here, at Black Cat Hampers and Gifts, protection is a priority.

We are a fully registered business and hold full public liability insurance for corporate and general events. Certification can be provided upon request.

We operate the Think 25 policy - if you are one of the lucky ones to look under 25 - I am not so lucky!! - please do not be offended if you are asked to provide proof of age when ordering from us!! 

We hold both a Personal and Premises licence with our local council therefore ensuring all objectives are adhered to when selling alcohol within our gift hampers and gifts.

Finally, you can feel protected as myself and all staff have full hygiene for retail qualifications. I also hold an allergen qualification, so you can rest assured that all of  your needs will be catered for with the utmost diligence.

At the start of 2023 we were delghted to received top score of 5 with the Food Standards Agency ensuring safety is a top priority here at Black Cat Hampers & Gifts.
